Pulmonary Function Testing

The Vital Companies use state-of-the-art spirometers that are easily transport to the job site. It takes only minutes to administer a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT). We can travel onsite to administer baseline and annual Pulmonary Funtion Testing.

First employees, complete the mandatory OSHA medical clearance questionnaire. Next, is the pulmonary funtion test, which measures lung volume and flow and is a good indicator of whether a person would experience difficulty using respiratory protective equipment. If the results of the person's PFT shows a forces expiratory volume and force vital capacity greater than 70, the person is medically cleared and can proceed on with the respirator fit test.
